All persons employed to dispense, sell, serve, take orders, or mix alcoholic beverages in Sandy Springs are required to hold a Pouring Permit. Persons holding managerial positions above those who perform these same activities are also required to hold a Pouring Permit.

Your Pouring Permit is associated with the Alcoholic Beverage License of the establishment you are pouring for. If you pour for multiple establishments, you will need a Pouring Permit for each one. If you stop working at an establishment, and begin working at a new establishment, you will need to have your pouring permit updated.

If you are seeking a pouring permit to serve alcohol at a private or public event rather than at a permanent establishment, please see the Serving Alcohol at Events section below.

The cost of a Pouring Permit is $50, and the permit is valid for one year from the date of receipt.

Permits are not transferable between cities or counties.
