Driver’s Licenses are obtained through the Georgia Department of Driver Services. Please visit their website for information about new licenses, renewals, transfers from out of state and for guidelines for international drivers and the documentation you will need to have to apply for a driver’s license.
There is no DDS Customer Service Center located in Sandy Springs. Check the DDS website for the nearest location.
Motor Vehicle Registration
Motor vehicle registration (titling and registrations) are handled through the county. The Fulton County Tax Commissioner’s office collects applicable ad valorem taxes, issues metal plates/decals and registrations to automobiles, trucks, motorcycles, tractor trailers, motor homes, boat trailers and motorhomes.
