Lapidus & Myles

Micah Lapidus and Melvin Myles collaborate to create a model for all people of conscience who understand that we are better together and need each other. Their music and message is infused with a spirit of love, respect, peace, and justice. 

 

Joe Capo

Joe Capo is based in Atlanta Georgia and has been playing guitar since the age of 11. He has performed throughout the East Coast as a solo artist and with various local, regional and national acts.

As a solo acoustic guitarist, his style has been labeled as “acoustic parlor guitar” and “new age Chet Atkins”, blending elements of blues, jazz and new age into his original arrangements of popular tunes and all original compositions. His eclectic, concert level performances are suitable for critical listening and/or ambience setting.

On electric guitar Joe’s improvisational style has made him a popular draw with many acts over the years. He is currently performing with Mudcat and the Piedmont Playboys.

Lauran Hunt

Lauran Hunt is a solo fingerstyle guitarist that plays classical, jazz, blues, and rock music. From Bach to Ellington to Sting and more, all played with a smooth soothing style.

 

Adam Shavin

A guitarist since the age of 7, Adam Shavin has grown into his own unique sound. Combining elements of indie rock and blues and delivered in the form of semi-improvised loop compositions, Adam's music is easy to settle into and always remains fresh.

Taylor So

Taylor So is an Asian American acoustic pop artists who is just starting on her music journey. she loves playing songs by her favorite artists and her own original songs. Taylor hopes that her music will mean something to anyone that hears it. 

 

Crawlspace

Formed in September 2020 by a retired air conditioning contractor and two retired civil engineers, Crawlspace has burrowed its way into the hearts of locals in the Atlanta/Decatur scene. Comprised of Phyl Hilton, Charles Absher, and John Miller, the trio tours coffee shops, retirement homes, and farmers markets across the greater metropolitan area and has played the Atlanta Botanical Garden many times.

Upon first glance, you could think their years of work and experience would have fostered a deep seriousness for their craft. Closer inspection reveals they are having a ball.

Craig Gleason

Craig has been in the music business for his entire life and goes down to Zac Brown's place every month "Camp Southern Ground" and writes songs with U.S Veterans. 

He is the former coordinator for the Nashville Songwriters Association and is a published songwriter with many songs published with Nashville and California Publishing companies. 

He is also the former guitar player for the bands Eli and Blackjack from the 70's and 80's. 

For Corporate, private and public venues like Farmers Markets he plays a variety of songs including Johnny Cash, Bob Marley, Bob Dylan, Creedence, and hits from the 50's-Now. 

 

Bitsyland

The mission of the Bitsyland String Band is to share their God-given talents to bring the gifts of music and laughter to many different audiences by keeping alive the traditions of old-time music and wholesome entertainment.

Dustbowl Dancers

The Dustbowl Dancers are an acoustic duo featuring Mark Gallegos and Taylor Haas. Their joyous blend of folk, Americana, and bluegrass pairs wonderfully with a joyous attitude.

Non-Profit Engagement Day

SSCRT's vision is to provide an opportunity for non-profit leaders in Sandy Springs to come together to help build community and strengthen the non-profit sector to meet the needs of Sandy Springs citizens. This is a chance to share Sandy Springs nonprofits organizations with the community – who they are, what they do and how you can get involved. Their desire is to let our community know about the many and diverse Sandy Springs nonprofits that support our families, children, environment, the arts and so much more.

Fit4Mom

FIT4MOM North Atlanta will be on site with hands-on children's activities this Saturday.   FIT4MOM is the nation’s leading prenatal and postnatal fitness program, providing fitness classes and a community of moms to support every stage of motherhood. Each of its total body workouts incorporate cardio and strength training, all while engaging little ones in a stroller. Moms in Sandy Springs are invited to join for classes every Tuesday and Thursday morning from 9:30 - 10:30am at City Springs.  Stop by the booth to grab a free class pass!  

 

Sandy Springs Police Department Bike Rodeo

Meet the Sandy Springs Police bike officers.  The bike unit is led by Sergeant Begeal and Sergeant Rausch and the officers patrol the area around City Springs.  These officers receive specialize training and possess skill sets to accomplish specific missions.  They look forward to seeing you there.

Little Diggers

Little Diggers is a FREE Family Gardening Series about the fascinating world of horticulture and gardening, presented in partnership with the North Fulton Master Gardeners and in cooperation with UGA Extension in Fulton County. This weekend, construct a terrarium to take home and nurture. Plant the terrarium with moss and some small plants.  can add fun items like fairies, frogs, bugs and other decorations. Learn about the life cycle of moss and how it grows and about plants and moisture needs. Plus, exercise your creativity by personalizing your terrarium.  Little Diggers is free for kids with accompanying adults.

ISI Sandy Springs

ISI (Iron Sharpens Iron) Elite Training offers a 50-minute functional training workout for all fitness levels.  Each session is led by an accredited fitness coach, designed to burn fat, increase strength and build muscle, while providing one-on-one coaching.  The goal is to create a fitness community through accountability, group support and helping you get the results you deserve!

Decorate your bike with red, white and blue and join us for a bike parade! SSPD Bike Patrol will choose the winner and pass out prizes.
