Retirement Plan Highlights
2024 Contribution Limits: $23,000 per year, plus an additional $7,500 for those ages 50 and up
Deferral Elections: You may enroll or change deferral election at any time
City Contributions: 12% non-elective contribution and match of 100% up to 5% of compensation
Roth and Traditional Options
Roth: After-tax contribution that grows tax free (no taxation upon withdrawal)
Traditional: Pre-tax contribution and grows tax-deferred (taxation upon withdrawal)
