On November 30, Brenda Page joined the Community Development Department as the new Permit Coordinator Specialist.

Ms. Page graduated from The University of Memphis with a Bachelor of Science and Engineering Technology in Architecture, Bachelor of Fine Arts in Architecture and a Bachelor of Professional Studies in Construction Management.

After graduation, she remained in Memphis and worked as an Assistant Construction Manager, overseeing the construction of the Better Business Bureau and the Riverwalk along the Mississippi River. Other highlights of her career experience include running the Architecture Department for Beazer Homes in Memphis, where she interacted with field personnel to ensure plans were being built as envisioned and she worked closely with code enforcement to ensure compliance.  Beazer Homes relocated her to Las Vegas, where she became the Regional Manger overseeing 15 CAD employees.  She was later transferred to their Atlanta corporate headquarters in Atlanta when they consolidated regional offices.  After working with Beazer, she stayed in Atlanta and went to work for Patrick Malloy Homes as their Production Manager. Most recently, she has worked as an independent contractor with Floor and Décor and their architects to ensure that the plans submitted to building permitting were accurate, complete and code compliant.

She is looking forward to learning the “back of house” processes for permitting.
