This Mother’s Day, the City is offering families a new event to celebrate the very special mom (or mother figure) in our younger residents’ lives. The City’s Recreation and Parks Department introduces the first Mother-Son Dance scheduled for Saturday, May 8, from 6 - 8 p.m. in the Terrace Level room in the Conference Center at City Springs. The event will feature dancing, games, snacks, refreshments, and door prizes. Each boy will also receive a souvenir photo and goody bag.
Attire is business casual to semi-formal with a cost of $35 per Mother and Son duo. There is an additional fee of $10 for each additional son. Admittance at the door is $40 per duo. To register, please visit the Sandy Springs Recreation and Parks registration site.
