SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. (May 28, 2021) – After more than a year of being closed for COVID-19, the curtains will rise again in the theatres at the Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center. Create City Springs, the performing arts and events department of the City, has curated a season designed to provide a wide range of artists and performances catering to audiences of all ages.

With more than 50 special events and over 70 individual performances booked for the season, highlights include headliners and familiar names like Air Supply, Paul Reiser, En Vogue, Kevin Nealon, and more. The Byers Theatre will also welcome a world of international artists including The Peking Acrobats, Mystic India: World Tour, Flamenco Vivo, and so much more. The Family Time series will offer just that, an opportunity for families to enjoy and explore the performing arts.

“It’s been a long and challenging year, and I’m thrilled to see our community coming back together at the Concerts at the Springs and the Farmers Market,” said Sandy Springs Mayor Rusty Paul. “Now it’s time to enjoy the performing arts in our theatres. I look forward to seeing you at the shows!”

In addition to the shows in Byers Theatre, the newly created In the Studio series will feature a variety of performances in the intimate setting of the Studio Theater. The Series includes Fully Cured Comedy, Blue Stone Jazz, Classical Brunch, and Local Sessions.

“We are proud of this season and can’t wait to have patrons back in our theatres.  Whether you like comedy, pop music, international musicians and dancers, or jazz, this line-up has something for everyone.” said Shaun Albrechtson, Executive Director of Create City Springs. “This season is packed with notably unique performers that will bring an outstanding level of entertainment to Sandy Springs.”

The recently launched Membership Program aims to provide early access and additional benefits to those who want to partner with Create City Springs to provide unforgettable experiences.
