This training is primarily for management staff of high-rise buildings (seven or more stories) and is being expanded for mid-rise buildings (4 to 6 stories).  It consists of a two-hour PowerPoint presentation taught by Community Affairs staff to educate and train property managers, building engineers and security supervisors about the need for preparedness for “all hazards,” response to emergencies and recovery afterwards.  The class reviews Emergency Action Plans, teaches the building management team to train others and a certificate is issued to document completion of the training. For more information contact Community Affairs Officer William Pildner at 770-296-8200.
