From the City Manager:

As the City continues to adapt to the COVID-19 pandemic, I want to make sure you have the latest information in our commitment to keep staff safe.

Onsite COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic

COVID-19 vaccine appointments are still available for the next mobile clinic at City Springs on Oct. 6. Across all City personnel, 52% have submitted vaccine cards to HR.  Furthermore, 76% of staff that work at City Hall are vaccinated. This is fantastic news!  Thank you for your diligence and willingness to share information that helps keep us all safe.  Over the past few weeks as vaccinations have risen, a decrease in testing indicates COVID-19 rates are beginning to decline as well.  We have used this data to make the decision to bring more staff back into City Hall.

Return to City Hall

We remain in Phase 1.5 as we have been for the past two months with one modification.  Effective Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2021, City Hall staff will move from staggered telework schedules to an increased in-person schedule.  Fridays will remain telework days for cleaning, and staff may work with their department director to identify one additional telework day per week.  There will be no changes to our existing requirements for mask usage, municipal court and public meetings, appointment scheduling, or the Friday cleaning schedule.

COVID-19 Testing Availability

The City has secured access to rapid 15-minute tests.  If a staff member is symptomatic, please reach out to Patrick Flaherty or Clay Crowley to request testing.  Exposed individuals who are not exhibiting symptoms should still use the Employee Testing Sign Up.  Additional testing may be determined by our Emergency Management team dependent on an individual’s symptoms and exposure circumstances.

Fulton County is also providing free access and delivery for at-home test kits to residents who live in high-risk zip codes.  The target zip codes are 30291, 30213, 30268, 30303, 30308, 30311, 30310, 30314, 30312, 30315, 30318, 30331, 30336, 30344, 30354, 30337, 30349, and 30363.  At-home tests can be ordered at https://covidtestfultoncounty.org/.
