In honor of February being American Heart Health Month, the City is sponsoring AngioScreens to help employees learn more about their risk of experiencing a stroke or heart attack. The Redmond Heart Van will be parked in front of City Hall on Tuesday, Feb. 22, from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. offering complete screenings for $25. The screening includes: Stroke Screening/Carotid Artery Ultrasound, EKG of the heart, Ankle Brachial Indexes, and an Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm check. Participants will receive immediate results including a 2-3 minute consultation with an RN and photos of your arteries.
Risk Factors include:
* Being Age 55 or over
* High Blood Pressure
* High Cholesterol
* History of Smoking
* Diabetes
* Family History of Stroke
* Obesity
* Family History of Heart Attack
* A personal medical history of other cardiovascular issues
ALL RESULTS ARE STRICTLY CONFIDENTIAL
Payment will be at time of appointment types accepted are: Cash, Check, Credit, Debit, and HSA/FSA. AngioScreens are NOT covered by insurance.
