The Sandy Springs Unified Platform utilizes the open-source Drupal content management system. We then extend its functionality to meet City needs through ongoing development.

June's Unified Platform release will remove the Drupal 9 software layer and replace it with Drupal 10. Along with the typical security and performance improvements you might expect, this release will introduce a new design system and improved user-interface. We've moved some of the user-interface development inhouse, which has streamlined modification, so staff can expect continuing improvement in their user experience. If you have ideas on how the Unified Platform could work better for you, share them with Jason Green. There is a good chance they can be implemented!

Your login credentials will remain the same, and there will be no down time. Just don't be surprised when everything looks impressively modern after logging in!

During the work on this release, the development team once again contributed back to the Drupal project by sharing patches developed for open-source modules.

The release is expected any day now as we perform final testing.
