With more than 950 acres of green space, Sandy Springs residents and visitors, of all ages, can enjoy the many activities found in any one of the city’s parks and green space areas. The City has 28 developed parks of various sizes and seven undeveloped park properties. The City’s Recreation and Parks department in partnership with the National Park Service, maintain beautiful trails for hiking and exploring along the City’s 22 miles of the Chattahoochee River shoreline.
