HR News
Performance Evaluations are being completed as we speak. Any performance pay will be paid out on the first payroll in March. Your supervisor will be meeting with you soon to go over your evaluation. The Human Resources Department has created a 2022 Bonus Deferral form to complete if you would like to defer part or all of your performance pay to your HSA account or your retirement account. The deadline to return this form to Human Resources is March 3, 2022. I apologize that this was not provided to those who received special team’s bonus pay and we will ensure that in the future this option is available.
We are very close to having our new compensation plan ready to move forward. This week the plan will be reviewed by Department Heads. If you have any input that you would like your supervisor or department head to consider, please get that information to them this week. Evergreen has reviewed all of the Job Assessment Tools (JAT), completed the salary survey and started working with Department Heads to recommend ranges. We are looking at going to Council as a part of the budget process.
Next up in the HR Department is the revision of the Employee Handbook. There will be a committee with representatives from each department. This committee will start meeting in March and I will publish the names of the department representatives here in my weekly updates so that you can give input to the committee.
